Permission has been sought to demolish the former Rockbarton Hotel in Salthill, Galway, and replace it with apartments. Rockbarton Family Holdings Ltd has lodged the application with Galway City Council for the site redevelopment.
The proposal aims to transform the disused hotel property into residential use. It follows the closure of the hotel in previous years. The planning process will now consider the application in line with local development guidelines.
