A Texas court has rejected JetBlue Airways application to dismiss a lawsuit from American Airlines.

American Airlines sought over ¢100m equivalent to approximately €92m in damages. The case related to the defunct Northeast Alliance between the carriers. Judge Jerry Bullard ruled that the court held jurisdiction over the matter.

JetBlue argued the dispute centred on Northeast operations but benefited from Texas-related flights and profits.
