CLIA has appointed Michelle Lardizabal as chief sales officer of Azamara Cruises and Joshua Harrell as chief revenue officer of WorldVia Travel Network as co-chairs of the Trade Relations Committee for 2026-2027. The committee advises on trade-facing initiatives, collaboration between cruise lines and travel advisors, and professional development opportunities. The 24-month terms include participation in meetings and sessions at Cruise360 in April 2026.
The appointments recognised leaders with experience in supporting the travel agency channel. They aimed to champion innovation, collaboration, and growth in the cruise sector.
The committee role supported CLIA efforts to equip advisors amid rising cruise demand. The announcement highlighted the importance of strong distribution partnerships.
