Viking has entered agreements for two expedition ships delivery in 2030 and 2031 plus options for two ocean ships in 2034.
The expedition vessels join Polaris and Octantis built in Italy as sister ships. Ocean ship options carry an exercise date of 30 July 2028 for 2034 deliveries.
Viking ordered Viking Mira and Viking Libra for 2026 Viking Astrea 2027 Viking Lyra 2028. Additional unnamed ocean ships are scheduled for 2028 to 2031 increased fleet capacity. The company is maintaining focus on river ocean and expedition growth worldwide.
