Brussels Airlines upgrades premium economy

Brussels Airlines revealed upgrades to its premium economy onboard experience starting mid-March 2026 alongside enhancements in business class and economy.

Premium economy switched to chinaware and steel cutlery with three main course options instead of two. Starters received enhancement and pre-arrival meals saw improvement with printed menus and upgraded headphones.

Business class on long-haul routes introduced menus by chef Glen Verhasselt focusing on Belgian cuisine. Short-haul business class gained curtains for privacy bottled water pre-take-off and refresher towels. Economy added an extra food component on long-haul trays and reusable premium cups for alcohol services.

Thibaut Dewilde shared “Our aim is to create a boutique hotel in the air and on the ground. These investments reflect exactly that.”
