Waterford is hosting the Thomas Francis Meagher 178th Anniversary Tricolour Celebration as a three-day festival from 6 to 8 March 2026.
- Events open with Thomas Francis Meagher Fife and Drum Band at Granville Hotel followed by walking tour.
- Guest lecture by Derek Barry occurred at Museum of Treasures on Friday evening.
- Public lectures series featured speakers including Maxine Keoghan Edward Burke Theresa Reidy and Daniel Mulhall on Saturday.
- Gala dinner at Granville Hotel included tricolour ceremony and music for €75.
- Sunday parade wreath laying and flag raising took place with military and band participation.
