Aramark Ireland rhas named Rosilei Mattos and Julia de Souza as the culinary champions of the EMPOWER Culinary Challenge 2026.
The competition, which took place in late February 2026 at Croke Park, is a high-profile showcase dedicated to celebrating and supporting the talent of female chefs within the organization.
The challenge brought together 14 of Aramark Ireland’s top female chefs. Finalists were required to prepare high-standard dishes within a strict one-hour time limit.The event emphasized culinary excellence, teamwork, and sustainability, often featuring plant-forward and innovative cooking techniques.
The event was organized by Aramark Ireland’s culinary leadership team, including Culinary Director Derek Reilly. Aramark also recognized Ana Maria Nechita as the Aramark Ireland Chef of the Year 2026 for her win at the International Chefs Cup in Dublin.
