A developer has secured removal of a planning condition for a €20.3m 116-bedroom hotel on the Murrough in Wicklow town. The original rule barred occupation of 42 phase-two seaside homes until the hotel was complete.
The change addresses financial viability concerns raised by the developer which had caused project delays follow the adjustment. The scheme now allows phased occupation.
The change in panning conditions removes the restriction on phase-two homes occupation.
