AmaWaterways has launched a City Escapes programme with extended time in cities along Seine, Rhine, and Danube rivers in 2026 and 2027.
Itineraries will feature more overnight stays, daylight sailing, and 24 hours or longer in cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Strasbourg, and Budapest. Departures occur during quieter travel periods for fewer crowds. Guests explore museums, local cuisine, and historic streets with added time.
