Disney Cruise Line reveals name next Wish-class ship Disney Believe

Disney Cruise Line has revealed the name of its fourth Wish-class ship as Disney Believe. The name was officially confirmed by Josh D’Amaro during the Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholders Meeting. 

Under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany; the steel cutting ceremony took place in August 2025. It will join sister ships Disney Wish (2022), Disney Treasure (2024), and Disney Destiny (2025). 

The ship’s overarching design motif is “promise and possibilities,” celebrating characters who “dare to pursue their own happily ever after”. It features themed zone dedicated to from Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana, and The Little Mermaid.

Due in 2027, the Disney Believe is expected to share the technical framework of its sister ships: approximately 144,000 GT, with a capacity of 4,000 passengers across 1,254 staterooms. It will be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), a lower-emission fuel.

While a unique bronze statue will anchor the Grand Hall (similar to Cinderella on the Wish or Black Panther on the Destiny), the specific character for the Believe has not yet been revealed
