Plans to develop Rinn Rua holiday park at the former Reenroe Hotel in Ballinskelligs received refusal from An Coimisiún Pleanála. The proposals include demolition of the famous Reenroe hotel which has stood derelict for 35 years to create a large scale holiday park west of Reenroe beach in South Kerry. The plans first appeared in 2023.

An Coimisiún Pleanála refused the application for the tourism and leisure park on the grounds of the long derelict hotel. The development aimed to replace the hotel with holiday park facilities in the area.

The site lies west of Reenroe beach in Ballinskelligs.
