Cork’s Metropole Hotel launches seasonal Easter tea service

Cork’s Metropole Hotel has launched a seasonal Easter focused afternoon tea service to enhance its guest offerings with festive themes. 

The Metropole Hotel in Cork has introduced a new seasonal Easter Afternoon Tea, available starting March 25, 2026. Curated by the hotel’s new Executive Head Chef, Eoghan O’Flynn, the service highlights chocolate-themed treats and high-quality local ingredients.

The experience is served in three layers, featuring a blend of traditional and modern seasonal flavours: 

Patisseries include white chocolate truffle with matcha, chocolate choux buns, and additional chocolate-focused treats for the Easter season. Highlights include rainbow trout paté with pickled fennel and orange, alongside other handcrafted bites.

The menu features ingredients from Cork producers such as Maharani gin, Five Farms Irish cream liqueur, and Tim Mulcahy’s chicken.
