MSC Cruises has become the fourth cruise line to cancel its planned winter season in the Middle East for 2026-27. The company follows Costa Cruises, AIDA Cruises and Explora Journeys in the decision.

The 5,400-passenger ship was scheduled to sail from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha to destinations in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain between November 2026 and March 2027. Explora II moves to the Western Mediterranean while the MSC Seaview heads to South America. Three other brands including TUI, Aroya and Celestyal have not yet confirmed changes and they plan to deploy four ships in the region from November to April.

The ship now offers itineraries departing from the French Antilles. It replaces the MSC Seaview which was originally set to operate in the region and will now sail in South America.
