Cork airport displays aerial photography exhibition

Cork Airport has opened a display of coastal imagery in its airside arrivals area and welcomes visitors with regional views. The exhibition features works by West Cork photographer Dennis Horgan from his publication The Coast of Cork – A View from Above that appeared last year. 

The display entitled Welcome to the wonders of our region includes aerial images from East Cork to West Cork and photographs of search and rescue services. Dennis Horgan captured the aerial photography with support from Atlantic Flight Training Academy at Cork Airport.

Dennis Horgan attended the opening of Cork Airport in 1961. Almost three and a halfm passengers will see the exhibition in 2026. 

Dennis Horgan shared “It’s a pleasure to partner with Cork Airport in the promotion of Cork tourism and local photography.”

Niall MacCarthy shared “Our visitors love the Irish coastline, and it is our pleasure to showcase the works of a wonderful local photographer of Dennis Horgan’s calibre.”
