Building on its history as Englands first Environment City, the initiative encourages visitors to engage with local culture, support independent businesses, and minimise environmental impact through park explorations, eco friendly accommodations, and low carbon travel options such as walking routes and e buses. Highlights include attractions reducing their carbon footprint and businesses using solar energy, offering authentic experiences that leave a positive legacy.
