Carnival Cruise Line has introduced The Next Course initiative with new dining experiences across its fleet. The programme adds specialty restaurants and bars on the upcoming Carnival Festivale and Carnival Tropicale ships due in 2027 and 2028. Carnival revealed the plans on 11 June 2026 in New Orleans with Emeril Lagasse.
New venues include Emeril’s Coastal Seafood, Fetaccine with Mediterranean specialties, and Le Bistro Musicale that serves French cuisine on the Festivale. Additional options feature the Hawaiian-themed Uku Lei Lei and new bars such as The Spark and Mix. Fleetwide changes cover refreshed main dining room menus and new Lido Family Menu options.
The company serves over 100m meals annually and uses guest insights to shape these additions. Enhancements include Bagels at Sea, revamped Chef’s Table menus, and expanded grab-and-go services with mobile ordering. Express Dining speeds up service in main restaurants.
Christine Duffy shared “Our approach to dining combined with our team’s amazing service is a driving force behind Carnival’s success. Our latest culinary adventure marks a bold step forward to give guests an unforgettable experience with a variety of new vibrant flavors fleetwide.”
