MedCruise has concluded its 68th General Assembly in Palermo.
The event ran from 9 June to 12 June 2026 and attracted more than 240 participants with 27 cruise lines in attendance. More than 700 B2B meetings took place which set a record for the assembly. Fifteen new memberships joined the association.
Theodora Riga president of MedCruise noted the historic nature of the gathering which marked 30 years of cooperation. A special anniversary panel reviewed 30 years of innovation sustainability and resilience in the cruise sector. Professor Thanos Pallis presented the latest MedCruise State of the Industry Report.
Cultural visits gala dinners and networking took place in Palermo and Sicily including events at Villa Boscogrande and Villa Tasca.
