Belfast City Airport has recognised five apprentices from its High Flyers Apprenticeship Programme at a passing out ceremony. The apprentices joined the programme in 2025 and completed training that combined academic study with practical experience. A live drill formed part of the event.
Daniel Burke, Liam Cunning, Daniel Fusco, Ethan McKee, and Paul McNally participated. The programme maintained a 100pc success rate for progression into permanent roles. It expanded to include an IT Engineer apprenticeship.
Aileen O Kane heads people and purpose at the airport. The apprentices demonstrated skills in operational roles. The airport invests in skills development across the business.
