Dublin releases details of free street events in July and August

Summer in Dublin has introduced free street events in July and August 2026. Live fashion shows run each Saturday from 18 July to 22 August between 1 PM and 5 PM on O Connell Street and Grafton Street. Family fundays music games style beauty events and cooking demonstrations take place at additional sites including Parliament Street.

Dublin Town and Dublin City Council organise the programme with local business input. The first event occurs outside Clery’s Decathlon on O Connell Street on 18 July 2026. The Lord Mayor supports the initiative that celebrates city life.

Events encourage shopping socialising and cultural experiences in the city centre.
