Scenic Luxury Cruises and Emerald Cruises have launched their 2026 and 2027 European Christmas Market river cruise programmes. The itineraries have covered the Rhine, Danube, and Main rivers with festive market visits in multiple countries. Guests have experienced Cologne, Strasbourg, Vienna, Budapest, and Amsterdam during the holiday season.
Scenic has offered 15-day Christmas Markets sailings from Amsterdam to Budapest with multiple departures in November and December. Emerald has provided eight-day options on the Rhine and Danube. The programmes have included excursions, mulled wine tastings, onboard celebrations, and locally inspired cuisine.
The river cruises have allowed travellers to visit several markets in one journey while enjoying castles and holiday decorations along the waterways. Reservations have opened for the seasonal deployments on both Scenic Space-Ships and Emerald Star-Ships.
