Riviera Travel has completed the maiden voyage of MS Riviera Resplendence on the Rhine. The ship departed Cologne on 4 July for a seven day Rhine Cruise to Switzerland itinerary. Guests received a celebratory welcome from senior executives.
James Golding and Noeleen Pritchard addressed guests during the inaugural sailing. The 135 metre vessel accommodates 178 guests across 89 cabins. It features richer interiors, suites with private dining and multiple restaurants.
The ship sails further itineraries in 2026 including Rhine Gorge and Yuletide Markets. It is targeting Gold Standard under the Green Award programme.
