Qantas achieves top punctuality ranking among major airlines in OAG data

• Qantas recorded 87.16pc on-time performance in June 2026.
• The airline operated 22,617 flights during the month.
• Domestic on-time rate reached almost 85pc.
• International arrivals within 30 minutes stood at over 87pc.

Qantas has been recognized as the world’s most punctual major airline for June 2026. The carrier achieved 87.16pc on-time performance across 22,617 flights. OAG data placed the airline ahead of Avianca and IndiGo.

Domestic on-time departures reached almost 85pc which marked the best June result since 2017. International performance showed 74pc on-time departures. The result follows fleet renewal and operational changes introduced since 2023.Qantas placed in the global top three in five of the past six months. The airline operates Airbus A321XLR and A220-300 aircraft on many routes.
