Irish Ferries has released its 2027 France summer schedules with a 20pc early booking offer available until the end of September. Early bookers on the Dublin to Cherbourg route can secure their reservation with a €300 deposit while enjoying first choice of sailings and cabins. Northern France offers an alternative to busier and hotter southern European destinations for families looking for a summer escape with warm weather, sandy beaches and outdoor activities.
Offers include the stunning Domaine des Ormes located in Dol-de-Bretagne, a two-hour drive from Cherbourg port, and offers golf, horse riding, a high-wire adventure course set in 400 acres of woodland, and five swimming pools. Saint-Malo is nearby with a castle, museums and Le Grand Aquarium. Bénodet in South Brittany offers treetop adventure parks and boat trips on the River Odet, while Le Grand Métairie in Carnac features a mini farm, pool complex, waterslides, archery and a zip wire.
The Charente-Maritime region stretches from La Rochelle to Royan and includes Île d’Oléron and Île de Ré, offering opportunities to explore by car, bike or on foot. Families can cross the Royan estuary before driving on to vineyards, forests and beaches along the west coast of France. The offer gives 20pc off 2027 France holidays when booked before the end of September.
