Radisson has introduced an AI-powered hotel discovery tool integrated with ChatGPT, enhancing how travellers find and book accommodations through advanced technology.
Radisson Hotel Group, in collaboration with Accenture, officially launched an AI-powered hotel discovery app natively inside OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Accessible by tagging @RadissonHotels in a prompt, the integration serves as an interactive travel assistant, letting users find, compare, and map accommodations across more than 1,000 hotels in 100+ countries through natural conversation.
The app c onnects directly to Radisson’s central reservation system using Accenture’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) framework, delivers live room inventory, current pricing, and specific amenity updates and generates location details and interactive, map-based search results directly inside the chat window.
The booking facility delivers what the group calls a seamless transition from the chat conversation to direct booking paths on the official Radisson Hotels website. To activate the feature, users start a prompt in ChatGPT by typing @RadissonHotels. They can then search using natural language tailored to highly specific travel criteria: “find a family-friendly weekend stay in Amsterdam.” Or “Show me a hotel in Paris with a gym and a spa close to the Eiffel Tower.”
According to the official announcement on the Accenture Newsroom, this launch signals Radisson’s strategic shift toward agentic commerce. This moves travel planning away from static search filters and into autonomous, AI-driven experiences where consumers can plan entire itineraries in a single conversation.
Accenture’s research reveals that 87pc of travellers are open to using AI travel assistants, and 71pc state AI will influence at least half of their lodging choices.
Radisson and Accenture plan to expand the app’s functionalities over time, introducing features such as:
