The schedule includes afternoon or early evening sessions that remain relaxed before building to higher energy later at night. The format blends structured performances with open dance time, and guests submit requests that the band incorporates into the flow.

The drinks menu centres on Latin American profiles. Signature selections include the classic mojito with fresh mint and rum, the caipirinha built with cachaça, lime and sugar, and the kiwi caipirinha for a fruit variation. Other options feature the Fruitful Hurricane mixing white and dark rums with orange juice, lime, sugar syrup and grenadine, and the Smokey Sunrise combining mezcal, agave nectar, orange juice and grenadine. The Dark Cuba Libre uses Bacardi 8 rum, lime juice and cola. Non-alcoholic adaptations and classic cocktails appear alongside the Latin-focused list.

A sample progression might start with a mojito during the opening band set, move to a caipirinha as the dance floor fills, and finish with a Fruitful Hurricane or Smokey Sunrise in the later, more intense segment. Service continues throughout performances, with staff navigating between seated areas and the bar counter. Light bar snacks may be available from nearby stations, though the emphasis remains on drinks paired with the music.

Boleros exists across the Royal Caribbean fleet, including all Icon-class ships. On Legend of the Seas, Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas, the venue sits on Deck 6 of the Royal Promenade with matching stage, dance floor and bar configuration. While décor details and exact band schedules adjust per ship, the Latin theme, live music format and core cocktail menu stay consistent. The concept predates the Icon class and appears on Oasis-, Quantum- and Freedom-class vessels in equivalent lounge formats.

On Legend of the Seas, Boleros operates without reservations or cover charge. Doors remain open during performances, allowing movement between the promenade and the dance floor as energy levels change.
