The Sports Court occupies an open deck space within Thrill Island on the upper levels of Legend of the Seas. This forward elevated position places it near the waterpark structures and climbing wall, with direct access from surrounding walkways and staircases that connect to lower decks and adjacent activity zones. The surface offers unobstructed sea views on multiple sides during use.
The multi-purpose court features marked lines for basketball and football, along with adaptable space for other active games. Equipment including balls is available from nearby stations, supporting organised sessions or spontaneous matches. The hard-wearing surface withstands marine conditions while providing grip for rapid movements.
The identical Sports Court, with the same multi-sport markings and sea-facing placement, operates on Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas within their Thrill Island neighbourhoods.
Participants organise games directly on the court, with staff available for equipment distribution during operating hours. The space accommodates mixed groups and transitions between activities without fixed scheduling for casual play. Lighting supports extended evening use on sea days.
The Sports Court on Legend of the Seas delivers a dedicated outdoor playing surface engineered for multiple sports within the Thrill Island complex. Its design and location match the courts first implemented on the earlier Icon-class ships.
