LEGEND Lore: Pier 7: All-Day California-Inspired Brunch on Legend of the Seas, aboard the world’s largest cruise ship

0

On Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas, Pier 7 sits on Deck 7 within the Surfside neighbourhood. This position places it directly in the family-focused zone, near Splashaway Bay, the carousel, and Playscape, with tables both indoors and positioned for views of the play areas. Guests access it via the open neighbourhood walkways. The venue operates with table service as a specialty restaurant that offers all-day brunch and additional lunch or dinner options. It carries a per-person charge for adults, while children under 12 eat free. Reservations appear in the ship’s app, though walk-ins occur depending on demand.

The menu follows a California beachside theme with sections for lighter bites, heartier plates, and sweets. Pricing often structures as a set number of items from different categories for a fixed price, though à la carte ordering remains available.

Sample Brunch Menu Items

Board Bites (starters or smaller plates) include chicken lettuce cups assembled with stir-fried chicken, ginger, onions, bell peppers, jalapeños, teriyaki sauce, and toasted peanuts. Other options feature loaded quesadillas with chicken, shrimp or steak, cheeses, and mango salsa, plus items such as shrimp tostadas with mango, lime, and guacamole.

Wave-Riding Entrées cover brunch classics and heartier choices. Examples are smoked salmon Benedict, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, caramel waffles, Baja fish tacos, Surfer’s Club sandwich, and Buddha Bowl. Burgers and other grilled items also appear.

Sweet Waves (desserts) feature caramel waffles, banana splits, and additional composed sweet plates. Guests commonly select two or three items across categories under the fixed pricing.

The kitchen prepares dishes to order, with a focus on fresh combinations suited to daytime family dining. Portions allow sampling without excess, and the casual service supports families moving between meals and nearby activities.

Pier 7 operates exclusively on Icon-class ships. It first appeared in the Surfside neighbourhood on Deck 7 of Icon of the Seas with the same all-day brunch format and California-inspired menu. Star of the Seas carries an identical venue in its Surfside area. Legend of the Seas replicates this setup as the third ship in the class. The restaurant does not exist on other Royal Caribbean classes.
