Extensive work has been happening behind the scenes to finalise the country’s participation, with collaboration from a range of suppliers including CAVS, Zaryab Malik (Zab), and Mint Events Ireland, as well as a partnership with Turismo Andaluz. The activation and stand at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) have been coming together with the support of Antonio Martín-Machuca, reflecting the significant investment in showcasing Spanish tourism and culture at this prestigious equestrian event.
The Dublin Horse Show 2026, scheduled for August 5 through August 9, has been drawing international competitors and spectators to the RDS for the €1 million Rolex Grand Prix and the 100th Nations’ Cup. Spain’s participation has been strategically timed to capitalise on the event’s high-profile audience, offering an opportunity to promote Spanish destinations, culture, and equestrian traditions to an influential demographic of horse racing enthusiasts and international visitors. The Spanish delegation has been finalising its exhibition space and activation programmes, ensuring the stand effectively communicates the diversity and appeal of Spain as a premier travel destination.
The Royal Dublin Society has been preparing for a record-breaking edition of the Dublin Horse Show, with the event returning “bigger than ever for 2026” following the opening of the new Laya Arena and the announcement of EOS IT Solutions as the title sponsor of its National Jumping Arena. Spanish horseman Santi Serra is among the renowned equestrian artists set to appear at the RDS, further cementing Spain’s profile at the event. The collaboration between Spain’s tourism authorities and Andalusian tourism representatives has been aimed at leveraging the show’s international reach to drive visitor numbers to Spanish regions, particularly Andalusia, which has a strong equestrian heritage and cultural appeal.
The Spanish delegation shared, “There has been a lot of work behind the scenes to get to this point, and I am sure there will be even more during the five days of the show, but it is great to see everything coming together
