Star Clippers expands 2027-28 Mediterranean programme

Star Clippers has been expanding its 2027-28 Mediterranean programme with the introduction of 27 new ports of call, introducing guests to hidden islands, historic fishing villages, UNESCO-protected towns and emerging coastal destinations. The expansion was particularly evident in Greece, including destinations such as Skiros, Skopelos, Karpathos, and Astypalea, with new ports in Turkey including Çeşme, Datça, Fethiye, Kas and Kekova. Along the Adriatic coast, Star Clippers added destinations including Korčula, Komiža, Trogir and Šibenik in Croatia, as well as Monopoli and Crotone in Southern Italy.

The company highlighted several itineraries that showcased new destinations particularly well, including the Eternal Cyclades, a seven-night voyage aboard the Star Flyer that explored the Aegean’s islands, including Milos, Santorini, Amorgos and Hydra, with fares starting at $2,500. The Authentic Greek Escape, another seven-night voyage aboard the Star Flyer, visited lesser-known Greek islands through visits to Astypalea, Sifnos and other emerging destinations, with prices beginning at $2,500. The Italian Gems itinerary, a 10-night voyage aboard the Star Clipper, combined destinations including Termini Imerese and Vibo Marina with more famous ports such as Lipari, Sorrento and Ponza, with fares starting at $3,350.

To celebrate the expansion, the company unveiled a promotion enabling up to 65 pc savings on all sailings, paired with up to $500 per cabin in onboard credit and a complimentary bottle of champagne on select departures booked by 30 September 2026. The expanded programme reflected the company’s commitment to taking travellers beyond the Mediterranean’s best-known destinations while preserving the authentic sailing experience that defined Star Clippers. The new ports of call offered guests access to hidden islands, historic fishing villages, UNESCO-protected towns and emerging coastal destinations across the Mediterranean region.
