Celebrity Cruises has unveiled its 2028–29 deployment, including a first-ever call to Galway, as part of its newly announced 2028-29 Northern Europe itineraries. In a major milestone for large luxury cruise vessels entering the West of Ireland, offering passengers direct access to the vibrant culture of Galway City, the dramatic landscapes of Connemara, and the Cliffs of Moher.

The deployment features an expansive Europe season and journeys across all seven continents. The company has scheduled four Edge Series ships to sail in Europe for the first time, while other itineraries span Alaska, Asia, Australia, New England and South America. The Celebrity Beyond will homeport out of Southampton for the summer 2028 season, operating 7- to 14-night itineraries targeting Norway, Iceland, and Scandinavia.

The Celebrity Equinox will deploy to Alaska for the first time, basing operations on 7-night one-way open-jaw sailings between Vancouver and Seward, before repositioning to Los Angeles for new round-trip itineraries to Hawaii. The Celebrity Solstice will sail its first full season in Japan from April to October 2028, visiting Tokyo and Kyoto, before transitioning to winter itineraries in Southeast Asia. The Celebrity Summit will operate 7-night sailings to Bermuda out of Cape Liberty in May 2028, shifting to Boston for 12-night Canada and New England itineraries in September and October.

The Celebrity Equinox will cross hemispheres to operate an extended South America and Antarctica season, executing 12- to 16-night cruises. The Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice will return to Australia and New Zealand, offering 23 distinct itineraries departing from Sydney and Auckland. Twelve- to 16-night itineraries spanning five countries on the Celebrity Equinox will visit destinations from the Chilean Fjords to Iguazu Falls and Antarctica. The deployment goes on sale from 25 August 2026 for Europe, Bermuda, Canada, and New England, with Alaska, Hawaii and South America following on 1 September 2026.

Europe & The Mediterranean

Celebrity Beyond: Will homeport out of Southampton, UK for the summer 2028 season. It will operate 7- to 14-night itineraries targeting Norway, Iceland, and Scandinavia.
Celebrity Apex: Will sail Northern Europe itineraries, introducing a first-ever call to Galway, Ireland.
Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent, & Celebrity Eclipse: Will handle the Mediterranean operations. They are offering 7- to 11-night itineraries out of key European regional hubs to destinations across Italy, France, Spain, Greece, and Turkey.
Celebrity Infinity & Celebrity Constellation: Continuing Mediterranean and Eastern Mediterranean routes, featuring overnight calls to Egypt and a return to Bari, Italy

Alaska & Hawaii

Celebrity Equinox: Deploying to Alaska for the first time. It will base its operations on 7-night, one-way open-jaw sailings running between Vancouver, British Columbia and Seward, Alaska. Following this, it will reposition to Los Angeles, California to operate new round-trip itineraries to Hawaii.
Celebrity Edge: Returning for its fifth season in Alaska.
Celebrity Millennium: Operating 7-night week-long round-trip cruises departing directly out of Vancouver. [1, 2, 3]

Asia & The South Pacific

Celebrity Solstice: Will sail its first full season in Japan (April to October 2028) visiting Tokyo and Kyoto, before transitioning to winter itineraries in Southeast Asia.
Celebrity Millennium: Joining the Solstice for spring/autumn Japan sailings and winter Southeast Asia deployments, visiting regions across Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Bali, and China.
Australia/New Zealand Hubs: Both Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice will return down under, operating 23 distinct itineraries departing from Sydney, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand. [1, 2]

Bermuda, Canada & New England

Celebrity Summit: Operating 7-night sailings to Bermuda out of Cape Liberty, New Jersey in May 2028. In September and October 2028, it shifts to Boston, Massachusetts for 12-night Canada and New England itineraries. [1]
