Prestonfield House in Edinburgh invites guests to indulge in an elegant Afternoon Tea set against the dramatic backdrop of Arthur’s Seat, just five minutes from the heart of the city. The seasonal selection includes Watermelon with barrel-aged feta and chorizo picante, Smeaton Farm free-range egg with summer truffle and watercress sandwiches, and freshly baked buttermilk scones served with clotted cream and homemade raspberry jam.
Ellenborough Park in the Cotswolds offers a quintessentially British experience served in the elegant surroundings of the historic manor or on the terrace overlooking rolling countryside views. The sumptuous selection features finger sandwiches including smoked salmon with dill crème fraîche and cucumber and cream cheese, alongside warm scones and an assortment of handmade miniature cakes. Families are catered for with a dedicated children’s afternoon tea menu. The Roseate Villa Bath has received an Award of Excellence 2026 in the Afternoon Tea Awards, sponsored by AfternoonTea.co.uk, celebrating outstanding standards across service, presentation and creativity.
Glenapp Castle on the Ayrshire coast presents afternoon tea in the Castle dining rooms with views to Ailsa Craig and beyond, and also in The Azalea, the hotel’s second restaurant which opened on 1 May 2025 within the estate’s historic Victorian Glasshouse. Farlam Hall in Cumbria offers ‘Afternoon Tea with Henry,’ a sweet tribute to the hotel’s black Labrador mascot, served in the hotel gardens with an ancient Cedar Tree and ornamental lake. Penmaenuchaf provides afternoon tea overlooking Snowdonia, completing the collection of distinctive experiences across Britain.
