Ireland inbound visitor numbers from France were 28,400 in July, down23pc on July 2025 and down 48.5pc on pre-pandemic. Rolling annual was 345,100 down 7.3pc on the twelve months to June 2025.
The total for the first six months of 2026 was 167,900, down 1.4pc on the six months to June 2025 and down 42.2pc on pre-pandemic.
This follows decreases of 8.9pc in June, 2pc in May, 0.6pc in April, 22.6pc in March, and increases of 46pc in February and 10.8pc in January.
