Fairmont Rishikesh, Himalayas will span approximately 16 acres of pristine landscape, featuring 220 guestrooms, four dining venues, 3,000 square metres of event space, a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, kids’ club and a range of thoughtfully curated guest experiences.
Rishikesh has long been known as a hub for spirituality and well-being, attracting tourists from all over the world seeking holistic experiences, yoga and meditation. Due to its excellent connectivity to Delhi NCR and other important markets, the location has also become a popular option for luxury leisure travel, staycations, adventure tourism, weddings and MICE events in recent years. Set against the Himalayan foothills and the biodiverse landscape surrounding the River Ganges, Fairmont Rishikesh, Himalayas will celebrate the spirit of its surroundings through thoughtfully designed spaces and experiences inspired by the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
The signing follows Fairmont’s continued growth in India with Fairmont Jaipur, Fairmont Mumbai and Fairmont Udaipur Palace, with further openings planned in Shimla Fagu, Goa and Agra. The expansion coincides with the ongoing increase in demand for luxury hospitality experiences in the Shivpuri-Rishikesh region, which offers an opportunity to provide world-class hospitality while meeting the growing demand for immersive, nature-led and experience tourism. The project also marks a significant milestone for the Javi Group as it continues to diversify its business interests through the development of a dedicated hospitality vertical.
