Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has opened its first hotel in Thailand, the Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, marking the brand’s third new property in Asia this year after launches in Hanoi and Tokyo. The 474-room hotel sits in the heart of Sukhumvit, a busy stretch lined with shops and restaurants, with guests able to walk directly into the neighbourhood’s nightlife. The hotel is integrated into ALL – Accor Live Limitless, with stays and dining across its seven venues counting toward Accor’s loyalty points.
Floral details appear throughout the building, with a chandelier shaped like the golden ratchaphruek blossom hanging in the lobby. The hotel features seven restaurants and bars, including Harper’s, which mixes North American and French brasserie styles, and AELA Social Bar, which serves as a lounge during the day and cocktail spot at night. The most distinctive addition is Wiggle Room, an underground supper club opening in mid-September with its own entrance on Sukhumvit Soi 18, blending live cabaret-style performance with dining and cocktails.
The hotel was designed for meetings and events, with over 2,000 square metres of space spread across three floors, including the Signature Grand Ballroom with a high ceiling and its own entrance. Two more restaurants are planned for the rooftop on the 32nd and 33rd floors, focusing on Italian-Japanese and modern Thai cuisine, both set to open in December 2026. The hotel competes with other luxury properties in Sukhumvit, including Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and Renaissance hotels, for corporate and leisure travellers.
