MSC Cruises updates for the Winter 2027-28 season include a move away from the middle east for MSC World Europa and what the cruise line calls moved “enriching deployment in the Western Mediterranean and South Caribbean with revised itineraries.”

MSC World Europa will remain in the Western Mediterranean instead of sailing in the Middle East, offering seven-night itineraries with multiple embarkation ports including Barcelona, Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina, Valletta, and Marseille. The ship’s feature-rich guest experience, including the open-air World Promenade, World Galleria, multiple speciality restaurants, lounges, and family facilities, makes the vessel ideally suited to Mediterranean winter sailings.

MSC World Asia, debuting in the Mediterranean in December, will sail in the South Caribbean instead of operating seven-night cruises to Spain, France, Italy, and Malta as previously announced last month. The ship will operate seven- and 14-night itineraries with embarkation in Fort-de-France (Martinique), Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), and Bridgetown (Barbados). Ports of call include Castries (Saint Lucia), St. George’s (Grenada), Philipsburg (St. Maarten), St. John’s (Antigua and Barbuda), Basseterre (Saint Kitts and Nevis), Roseau (Dominica), and Kingstown (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines).

Guests booked on MSC World Europa in the Middle East for Winter 2027-28 and their travel partners are being contacted directly with options including moving their booking to another sailing or requesting a full refund. Guests booked on MSC World Asia in the Mediterranean or MSC Meraviglia in the South Caribbean will see their bookings updated and will be contacted directly about any individual changes. The new itineraries will open for sale and be available to book from 25 August 2026.
