Electric Picnic has confirmed its final line-up ahead of the festival beginning on Friday 29 August 2026 at Stradbally Hall in County Laois, completing the roster of performers for Ireland’s largest music and arts event. The three-day festival has sold out its general admission tickets, with organisers expecting attendance of approximately 70,000 people across the weekend. The line-up features a diverse range of Irish and international artists across multiple genres, with main stage headliners, electronic music acts, and comedy performances programmed across the festival’s numerous stages and arenas.
The festival has expanded its arts and cultural programme for 2026, with new installations, performance art spaces, and spoken word venues added alongside the established music stages. Hospitality businesses in County Laois and surrounding areas have prepared for the influx of festival-goers, with local accommodation, restaurants, and transport services experiencing high demand. The festival contributes significantly to the regional economy, with an estimated €50m generated for the local area through ticket sales, accommodation, and hospitality spending.
Organisers have implemented enhanced safety measures and sustainability initiatives for the 2026 event, including improved transport links, waste reduction programmes, and accessible facilities. The line-up announcement completes a months-long programme of artist reveals that has generated considerable interest on social media and music platforms. Local residents have received advance notification of traffic management plans and event schedules to minimise disruption.
Festival Director Melvin Benn shared: “The line-up for this year’s festival brings together an incredible mix of established and emerging artists, and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone to Stradbally for what promises to be a memorable weekend.”
