Palma de Mallorca reported that Palma de Mallorca Airport reported 4,696,690 flights in July, continuing a massive surge in summer tourism traffic across the Balearic Islands.
The numbers were 2.2pc ahead of last year and 11.6pc ahead of pre-pandemic. Rolling annual was 34,223,715, marking a 1.8pc increase on the twelve months to July 2025. The airport has handled 14,582,302 passengers so far this year, also 2.2pc ahead of 2025.
Son Sant Joan handled 32,198 takeoffs and landings in July, marking a 2.4pc increase compared to the previous year
