The Evolution programme is about bringing the very best of Holland America Line to more of the fleet, with the company having been on a journey to expand and elevate entertainment offerings across the fleet guided by what guests say they love most. Since the Lido Pool features a retractable glass roof, guests will be able to enjoy the space regardless of the weather. As part of the largest fleet update in the company’s 153-year history, Holland America Evolution is revitalising six Vista and Signature class ships with Pinnacle class-inspired experiences and new offerings.

The Oosterdam and Zuiderdam are the first two ships in the programme, with guests sailing aboard the two ships following their transformations enjoying other enhancements including the introduction of the Grand Dutch Café and new staterooms and suites. The new poolside bandstands represent another step in the effort to create more opportunities to enjoy live music and memorable performances in one of the ship’s most popular gathering spaces.
