Royal Lancaster London is scheduled to host Dog Days Retreat on 26 September 2026. The festival is billed as London’s first indoor wellness festival created for dogs and their humans, with tickets from £18 and numbers limited.
The event will bring together expert talks, hands-on treatments, meditation, grooming and a curated wellness marketplace in one day at the luxury hotel overlooking Hyde Park. Presented by YapYap, London’s largest active dog community with over 3,000 dog parents and more than 100 events since 2022, the programme has been built around three themes: Discover, Learn and Recharge. Headline partner The Dog Nutritionist and partnership with Love My Human have supported the event tapping into growing demand among London dog owners for pet wellbeing.
Dogs will experience massages, professional grooming and interactive wellness sessions, while owners have heard from experts on canine nutrition, health, behaviour and wellbeing. Headline speaker Cam Wimble, The Dog Nutritionist, has hosted sessions focused on practical, accessible advice around canine nutrition. The event has reflected the broader trend of pet-friendly travel, with 60pc of British households owning pets and the dog-friendly travel sector forecast to be worth almost £40bn by 2030.
