GreenWorking Awards announces sustainable tourism video competition

The GreenWorking Awards is accepting free entries for sustainable tourism videos until 21 September 2026, with the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals organising the second edition of the competition.

Three thematic categories have been established for the awards programme. The GreenWorking Production Award recognises campaigns demonstrating sustainable audiovisual production practices including emissions reduction, resource efficiency, waste minimisation and responsible supplier selection. The GreenWorking Message Award celebrates campaigns delivering impactful sustainability communications. The GreenWorking Global Award honours the best campaign combining responsible production practices with effective sustainability narratives.

An international jury comprising representatives from UN Tourism, the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, the European Travel Commission, the European Climate Pact and Biosphere will evaluate entries. Winners will be recognised at the World Tourism Film Awards 2026, the grand finale of the CIFFT Circuit which brings together nine tourism film festivals worldwide. The CIFFT operates as an Affiliate Member of UN Tourism with endorsement from the European Travel Commission, Central America Tourism Agency, Caribbean Tourism Organization and Skal International.
