MSC Cruises has completed the first phase of a progressive jackpot system rollout across its U.S.-based ships, the company has confirmed through an official press release. The technology has been added to seven vessels through a partnership with Galaxy Gaming, with the installation marking the first progressive table game jackpot system introduced onboard MSC’s ships. Galaxy Gaming has provided the Galaxy Operating System platform for a customised progressive jackpot experience across 30 blackjack tables.
The companies completed an evaluation period before deploying the technology, during which MSC tested the platform’s performance, flexibility and capabilities alongside the guest experience. MSC Cruises USA director of casino operations Burkay Gokgoz has confirmed the integration of Galaxy table game progressive jackpots creates a more dynamic environment for players and reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and guest satisfaction. Galaxy Gaming vice president of global sales Greg Stewart has indicated the milestone follows two years of collaboration between the company and MSC.
MSC’s U.S. fleet includes the MSC World America, which entered service in early 2025 and currently sails from PortMiami. Other vessels operating year-round in North America include the MSC Poesia, MSC Seascape, MSC Seaside and MSC Seashore. The progressive jackpot installation represents the first phase of a broader technology enhancement programme across the cruise line’s North American operations.
