Riviera Travel has reported a 45pc year-on-year rise in trade bookings for its dedicated solo programme, with early demand building for 2027 departures across river cruises. Trade partners have accounted for 23pc of all Riviera solo holidays booked so far in 2026.
The Blue Danube for Solo Travellers leads as the top-performing solo river cruise through the trade in 2027, with popular sailings aboard the MS George Eliot, Riviera’s river cruise ship dedicated exclusively to solo travellers. The MS George Eliot offers an introduction to solo travel, combining multiple destinations with included tours, excursions, dining and onboard activities. Guests enjoy a double cabin with no single supplement on dedicated solo holidays. Strong-performing 2027 departures include Burgundy, the River Rhône & Provence for Solo Travellers and The Douro, Porto & Salamanca for Solo Travellers.
