Disney Cruise Line has added new itineraries to its schedule for the 2027-28 season, including a new cruise to Bermuda departing from Fort Lauderdale, with the Disney Fantasy scheduled to operate the special sailing. The eight-night cruise will sail roundtrip from Port Everglades and visit both of Disney’s private destinations in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Highlights of the itinerary include an overnight call to King’s Wharf, as well as stops at both private island destinations. The sailing is scheduled for 18 March 2028 and forms part of Disney Fantasy’s maiden season in Fort Lauderdale. For its first season in South Florida, the vessel will offer a series of four- to seven-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean from Port Everglades.
The 2012-built ship is scheduled to debut at its new homeport in December 2027 for a season running through April 2028. Before arriving in Fort Lauderdale, the Disney Fantasy is also scheduled to sail from Port Canaveral and San Juan in late 2027. Other highlights of Disney’s deployment plans include the debut of the Disney Destiny in Port Canaveral and a return to New York City with the Disney Wish, while the Disney Adventure will begin visiting Langkawi, Malaysia in December 2026.
