Cruise Lines International Association has confirmed its 2027 RiverView conference will go on sale on 16 September at 11:00, with the event marking its 15th anniversary and taking place from 5-8 March 2027. The conference is open to all CLIA member agents, with delegates able to join a two-night sailing from Budapest to Vienna via Bratislava, with an additional overnight in Vienna, hosted onboard one of three ships: AmaSofia, Riviera Radiance or VIVA TWO. Breakfast, dinner and entertainment are included in the sailing programme, with Vienna hosting RiverView’s business sessions alongside a guided tour programme offering delegates the opportunity to visit ships from Avalon Waterways, TUI River Cruises, Scenic and Riverside Luxury Cruises.
Bratislava represents a new port of call for RiverView, with a networking trade fair and local excursions on offer in the Slovakian capital. A new Lite registration option will be introduced for 2027, giving agents the opportunity to take part in a shorter programme from 6-8 March, including attendance at business sessions, plus overnight stays on both TUI River Cruises and Avalon Waterways and lunch on Scenic. A supplier networking afternoon will be arranged, with delegates having the chance to visit participating river cruise ships, and VIVA Cruises will offer a two-night pre-conference sailing onboard VIVA TWO for which agents can confirm interest at registration.
Ahead of RiverView, CLIA will put river cruise destinations in the spotlight with A Week on the Rivers webinar series from 12-16 October 2026, with each webinar starting at 09:30. The programme comprises river cruising in Asia on 12 October, the Douro on 13 October, the Nile on 14 October, Christmas Markets on 15 October and the Rhine and Danube on 16 October. The webinars are open to all CLIA member agents, with registration available shortly via trade.cruising.org, each lasting 40 minutes and featuring CLIA and cruise line destination experts.
