EXPLORA III has made her maiden call to Greencastle, welcoming 30 travel agents from Ireland onboard. The visit took place on Friday 12 September at Foyle Port. Explora Journeys, the luxury brand of MSC< hosted the agents as the brand continues to grow its presence in the region.

Priti Mehta, Senior Head of Sales, and Koral Lipton, Business Relationship Expert, hosted the Travel Advisors. The visit provided first-hand insight into the brand’s approach to ocean travel and how to position it for clients. The advisors explored EXPLORA III’s sense of space, European design, intuitive hospitality and epicurean excellence, alongside its diverse culinary and lifestyle offering.

Antonio Paradiso, VP & MD, Explora Journeys, stated that Travel Advisors are fundamental to the brand’s growth in Ireland, particularly as it introduces Explora Journeys to travellers who may not see themselves as traditional cruise guests. The visit formed part of Explora Journeys’ continued engagement with the Irish travel trade as the brand expands its six-ship fleet, with three now sailing. EXPLORA I previously made her maiden call to Foyle Port in August 2023, marking Explora Journeys’ first visit to the island of Ireland.
