France’s all-business La Compagnie eyes doubling of fleet by 2028

La Compagnie aims to receive a third A321-200NX(LR) in 2027 and its first A321-200NY(XLR) in 2028, the airline stated in an announcement of its new transcontinental nonstop service between Düsseldorf and New York Newark to be launched in spring 2027. The addition of these long-range narrowbodies will allow the airline to deliver greater range and operational flexibility while maintaining its all-business-class experience. The manufacturer serial number of the upcoming A321-200NX(LR) in the carrier’s fleet is 13604.

Beginning in spring 2027, La Compagnie will operate up to five times weekly between Düsseldorf and New York Newark. ch-aviation data shows that La Compagnie currently operates a fleet of two dry-leased A321-200NX(LR)s. The transatlantic specialist also wet leases a B757-200 from Icelandair, which is used for flights from both Milan Malpensa and Nice to New York Newark.

The fleet expansion supports La Compagnie’s long-term international growth strategy. The airline continues to focus on its all-business-class model.
