Edelweiss will introduce its completely redesigned long-haul cabin on the Airbus A350-900 starting in early June 2027 with the entire six-aircraft fleet fully retrofitted by early October 2027. Tickets for these newly configured flights are already open for booking through the Edelweiss website and standard reservation channels. The transition to the new product begins in June 2027 scaling up progressively across the widebody fleet.
Exclusive launch routes include Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar in Tanzania, Windhoek in Namibia and Halifax in Canada. Edelweiss has reconfigured its A350 aircraft to house a total of 319 seats dividing the layout across three modernised travel classes. Business Suites feature four exclusive suites with closable doors generous personal space and 32-inch screens. Business Class features a 1-2-1 layout with direct aisle access for every passenger and seats that convert into fully flat beds. Premium Economy features 28 seats in a 2-3-2 layout with hard-shell design. Economy Class features 259 seats with increased legroom.
The cabin upgrade emphasises high-end passenger connectivity and wellness technology including complimentary high-speed internet powered by Starlink Wi-Fi across all travel classes, 4K seatback screens equipped with Bluetooth audio pairing, wireless charging pads in Premium Economy and Business, and human-centric cabin lighting designed to align with natural circadian rhythms.
