- TTC consolidated Insight Vacations and Costsaver under Trafalgar.
- The transition began September 1 and completes by 2028.
- Trafalgar offers Saver, Classic and Premium tiers.
- The combined portfolio features more than 600 itineraries across 75 countries.
- Contiki, Luxury Gold and Brendan Vacations remain separate brands.
TTC Tour Brands has updated the trade on the process of phasing out the Insight Vacations and Costsaver brands. The expanded 2027 portfolio went on sale ahead of the Black Friday booking period, with a slow transition and retirement phase planned through 2027. The unified Trafalgar brand organises travel styles into three clear categories.
- Premium retains the high-end hotels, dining and experiences previously run by Insight Vacations
- Saver retains the budget-friendly and flexible options previously known as Costsaver.
- Classic represents the traditional well-known guided tours that Trafalgar already offered.
Since the beginning of the month, Trafalgar has updated its offer and introduced a portfolio designed to be easier for the consumer to understand: five travel styles covering tours small groups river cruises rail journeys and groups across saver classic and premium tiers. Marketing changes have begun in the fourth quarter of 2026 with the full transition expected around 2028. The move has aimed to simplify the portfolio while expanding choice within a single power brand.
The Travel Corporation (TTC) consolidated its touring portfolio by sunsetting Insight Vacations and Costsaver and bringing their products under the single Trafalgar umbrella brand. This major change created a simpler booking system with a wider range of choices under one trusted name. TTC Tour Brands revealed the consolidation on 1 September 2026.
Existing 2027 itineraries, experiences and prices stayed exactly the same. Separate brand names still appeared during the 2027 transition year before being fully retired. The combined lineup featured more than 600 itineraries across 75 countries. Sister brands like Contiki, Luxury Gold and Brendan Vacations remained separate outside of this core Trafalgar-led consolidation.
The consolidation followed the 2024 acquisition of TTC by Apollo Funds. To back this new unified strategy, TTC made its largest-ever marketing investment in the Trafalgar brand throughout 2027 to aggressively boost consumer awareness and drive business to travel advisors.
