The Ireland Golf Convention 2026 has been scheduled to take place at Dromoland Castle Hotel & Country Estate in Newmarket-on-Fergus, County Clare, from 5 to 6 October 2026. The event has been supported by global golf travel organisations like IAGTO and serves as a gathering for international golf tour operators, travel agents and Irish hospitality suppliers to negotiate and secure golf tourism business. This year marks the 10th edition of the convention.
The estate has been globally renowned for its immaculately maintained 18-hole, par 72 championship parkland golf course, originally designed by Ron Kirby and J.B. Carr. Dromoland Castle Hotel has been situated a 15-minute drive from Shannon Airport (SNN), making it easily accessible for arriving international delegates. The main castle hotel has been scheduled to undergo a landmark €55m redevelopment starting in November 2026. During the October convention, the estate, its golf club and the Golf Academy were fully operational.
