The Hotel Riu Palace Mexico has presented its extensive renovation and new Elite Club service in Playa del Carmen. The hotel an Adults Only by RIU property showcases a fresh design, new spaces, additional restaurants and bars and an elevated guest experience and service. The new Elite Club service features 56 of the hotel’s finest rooms, 30 of which include a private pool complemented by a new infinity pool as well as an exclusive bar and restaurant.
RIU Hotels and Resorts has completed the transformation of one of its most cherished properties marking a milestone as the first Riu Palace hotel to open in Mexico back in 1999. Situated beachfront within the exclusive residential area of Playacar the Riu Palace Mexico has refreshed its aesthetic and interior design concept and further elevates its all-inclusive offering for adults by introducing the exclusive Elite Club category.
With 434 rooms the Riu Palace Mexico has undergone a meticulous renovation that prioritises rest and comfort. The new design highlights soft tones, natural wood finishes and warm lighting. The hotel features five swimming pools distributed throughout the complex including the one located within the exclusive Elite Club area. The property offers an extensive variety across its nine restaurants including the international buffet Don Julián, the poolside restaurant Guacamole, the Asian-inspired Miyagi, the Italian restaurant La Dolce Vita, the gourmet Krystal and the Steak House. These are complemented by the exclusive Elite Club restaurant as well as more casual classics such as the Tiki Taco station and the grilled specialties at Pepe’s Grill.
